Bring Home Alfie!?

TOMORROW we are bringing home Alfie! How fast has the time flown by?! I am so excited, I don’t know how I am going to sleep tonight!
Don’t worry, I won’t let you down, I will take lots of pictures for you all to see and keep you updated on how he is doing.

What will happen?
Joanna will give us our puppy pack. We will get all the papers, medical, Kennel Club etc. She will also give us a whole bag of food which she thinks should last us a week. A toy that smells of his brothers and sisters will also be included.
She may talk us through things, answer our final questions and ask us some, then we’re off! You may have seen my Travel Crate post, this is what Alfie will be in.
Now I want to ask you a question..
What do you think I should do when I bring Alfie into the house?
I don’t want him to be terrified yet I want him to get used to his surroundings. So what advise to you have? Let me know!

  1. Don’t leave him alone at night :-). Sectioning off parts of the house with playpens and introducing one part at a time helps a lot. My humans were so stupid when I was little that they left me alone at night and gave me a free run of the house….hope they learnt their lesson!

  2. My mummy and daddy put some of their clothes in my bed along with a clock and some toys. They left me in the kitchen sectioned by a babygate. And I howled the place down for a week BOL. I even managed to escape and would creep up to their room! They ended up letting me sleep on the floor in their room and I didn’t cry anymore.
